A blog for my musings as I Explore Cooking, Enjoy Decorating, and Celebrate Life
A few weeks ago I came across this quaint store called the Silk Road. Inside, everything is imported from along the Silk Road...Pakistan, India, China. There are jewels hanging everywhere; frankincense and myrrh; oriental rugs stacked in piles everywhere. It spans two townhouses and goes up and down stairs and is like entering another world. In that vein, I've decided to make these quaint coasters. Though they don't look antique or foreign, I liked the complexity and imperfectness the design created. Check it out :)
There are no instructions for this craft! It's purely about creativity and making something that's an expression of you, and not a step by step guide. So experiment and have fun with it! Below I have steps of how I did mine, as well as the finished product.
