As college ends, and you’re about to move on to the next stage of your life, the circle of friends that you’ve had for at least the last four years will probably dissipate to the ends of the earth. Maybe its even sooner for you if you’ve gone to an internship or a co-op someplace new. Sure, if you’re moving to a major city some of them may end up close to you. But if you end up in Timbuktu because you got a great job offer, you’ll be looking for new things to explore and new friends to share that with. Basically, these two things are forever intertwined—you’ll want friends to explore the area with, and friends from the area will know the area better. Both tasks come with separate tips though.
